This all started when I was about four years old. I adopted a bumble bee and then cried when I drowned him in my little swimming pool trying to give him a bath. Since then, I've looked at the world a little differently than most, and I love sharing my views.
I’ve been telling stories for over 40 years—first to my students (who were wonderfully captive audiences), and now to you, my readers. Jesus used parables to reveal the Father’s heart, and I believe storytelling is still one of the most powerful ways to shine His light.
I told stories in the classroom, and now on the page. As a longtime teacher, I followed Jesus’ example of using stories to teach truth in ways that touch the heart. Now, as a retired teacher living near the New Jersey shore, I write faith-filled romantic mysteries and redemptive tales that weave the gospel into everyday struggles, love, and life’s messy middle.
I hope my stories linger in the heart and remind my readers that they’re not alone in their struggles. Through characters who are quirky, flawed, and wonderfully real (often inspired by students, coworkers, friends, and even beachgoers I’ve observed), I share timeless truths about redemption, grace, and our hope in Christ.
When I’m not writing or reading, you might find me painting, swimming, walking on the beach, or creating hands-on STEM lessons for kids. Teaching students about our Creator remains one of my great joys, because science doesn’t contradict faith; it points to it. Faith isn’t opposed to reason—it’s deeply rooted in it.
Problem-solving creatively has always been my thing. You'd be amazed at how many ways a twist-tie can be used. If you ever need to build a life-size heart game or a cardboard playhouse on a budget, I’m your girl.
Thankfully, God has gifted me with an amazing husband who goes with the flow. He never knows if I'm painting in the basement, building something in the kitchen, or off doing some wacky project. He understands my passion to spread the Gospel in my own unique way and point people back to the truth: God is real, He is near, and His love is woven into every story.
A Little About Me

God created logic. So use it.
I love teaching about creation because overwhelming scientific evidence points to a loving Creator. Unfortunately, many people just don't take the time to look closely.

Fun Facts
Training teachers with a twist:
For ten years, I taught a professional development course called That’s Entertainment, where I encouraged teachers to bring energy and creativity into the classroom. My Mission? Learning should be engaging, and most of all, fun. Sadly, with computer screens taking over, that kind of creativity is becoming a lost art.
Grill master? Not quite.
Once, while grilling burgers for my son and his middle school friends, I got so caught up watching their hilarious antics that I forgot the grill entirely. Let’s just say, I earned my place in family legend the night I served up flaming hockey pucks on a bun!
I love to sing—unfortunately.
It brings me joy, but not everyone shares the sentiment. My performances are often met with a chorus of, “Mom, pleeease stop!”
Old is a relative term.
I’m a huge fan of old movies. When I told my class that I loved classics, one student eagerly replied, “Oh, like Tom Cruise movies?” I smiled and said, “No, like Cary Grant.” Their blank stares said it all.
Normal? What's that?
I'm not normal, but I don't think anyone really knows what normal is, so I just accept who God made me to be.
I once climbed into a maple tree to taste what my husband thought was sweet sap dripping from a branch. Spoiler alert: it wasn’t sap...but there was a squirrel up in the branches laughing like crazy. (By the way, my husband held the ladder and swears it was his best idea yet.)
My husband and I were out on the golf course when a storm rolled in. He asked me to tend the pin, which, for non-golfers, means standing there holding a metal flag in a lightning storm while he putted. The moment lightning struck a nearby tree, I’m pretty sure I levitated, tossed the flag like it was on fire, and sprinted for the cart. Honestly, sometimes I wonder if he’s trying to collect the life insurance.
I made a puppet to engage my students. (Her name is Loud Mouth Louise.)
I taught purity to my eighth-grade students using a pizza mitt.
I've taught an entire class wearing a plastic nose and mustache.
Sometimes I take being a submissive wife a little too far.
